I ordered this hesitantly after reading others' reviews, but since it was one-third to one-fourth the cost of HP's battery, I decided to give it a try. It arrived with a 68% charge and was ready to go. It holds a charge a long time--just as well as my original battery. No worries!

This back-up battery was received within 4 days of its order, and with a 76% state of charge. A battery of this type usually will require a full charge prior to working. This battery worked in my PDA directly "out of the box."

The one I received won't hold a charge more than a few minutes. Maybe a statistical hiccup or just more poor quality china garbage. Hard drives and batteries have been the two major failure items in my life over the last 5 years. We should just make them here in the US. Even at a higher cost, with the additional RMA politics and return shipping I would still be ahead.
