nice battery backup for all the iPhones/iPods/iPads! Yes, this will provide a charge to the iPad- not saying it's a full battery charge but it will top off the battery if needed. (like, if you need to carry a spare battery for EFB purposes)

First off, the product comes with a 3 inch USB connection to plug into your PC. It should have a wall adapter or a slightly longer connection.
Second off, I charged the product once and then ran my iPhone down to 50% battery. Took about 3 hours to charge the phone back up to 100%. Went back to charge the splash and it wouldn't take a charge. The 3 lights on the front have been flashing for the past 3 days and have not shut off. It no longer charges back up and no longer charges up the phone. Total Crap!

This backup battery works very well once it is fully charged. I found it didn't charge as well with a regular power outlet as it did when connected to the computer. We used it when traveling to Europe and it was a great way to keep the music playing on the looooong plane trip there!

I bought this item for my iphone 4 and i love it!
My iphone 4 is now my main camera i use, so i knew i would need a battery charger. I took my iphone to Otakon last weekend and never had to charge my phone once from the wall plug, thanks to splash. My phone lasted me 3 days, and in those 3 days i took over 420 pics, 10 videos, sent 150+ texts, made many short calls to find people, and i would say 90 mins of game play with apps.
Making my phone last 3 days i'd say it gets 5 stars and worth the money. charges nice in your pocket can be a little big but still fits. Just look at the pics i posted.
The only thing i am afraid of is when am charging it in my pocket it feels like the piece where its connected could snap and break if your rough with it. Or fall and hit it or if something pushes against it heavy

I wouldn't waste my time with this piece of junk. It worked with my iPod touch exactly once and then would not charge it again. I think it is a problem with the extremely flimsy iPod docking connector. Buy something else more reliable and save your money.
