This Mfgs adapter will power the Dell but will not charge the battery. Your Dell laptop will give you a warning notice that it don't reconize the adapter. Same results with two of this adapters on three defferent laptops.

I have two Dell 1525's and btw they will be the last Dell's that I own. I had 3 power supplies go bad during the warranty period. Then two more afterwards have went bad. These cheap replacement power supplies have worked fine for me the last four months, but as others have stated the cords are shorter than the ones made by Dell.

I ordered a laptop charger. Unfortunately I did not get it. The seller did not even email me at all to even let me know what happenned. I emailed the Amazon customer service to let them know that have not receive it and where the seller could send the charger. I have not heard anything. So, yaa, my money seems to be gone, and the charger is still not here.
