The battery does not hold a charge very long. This product is a disappointment. I think I paid more for the last replacement battery, but the extra hours it lasted were worth the premium.

I purchased this battery in May. I only plug it in when battery is close to dead. The charge of the battery no longer holds after 3 months. This is a poor quality battery. I was very please at first but within the last month it's lost its charging capability quick.

The battery is listed as compatiable with a Dell Inspiron 1501. The battery would not even fit in the battery slot; it was just a little too big. With the shipment I received a slip of paper with an email address to the vendors Customer Service. I sent an email explaining the battery did not fit and received a "invalid address email" in reply, so I was unable to contact the seller. I do commend Amazon for the ease and efficiency of its return/refund process.
