Took it to Alaska on our trip & it worked beautifully. It had as much power & camera time as Olympus' standard battery that comes with the camera. In fact it had Olympus' name stamped on the side of the battery so I suspect it is the same standard battery that comes with the Olympus battery but at a cheaper price.

If you own any Olympus camera model that uses the LI-50B battery, don't settle for anything less than this one. I made the mistake of trying to save a few dollars and bought a "knock-off" version as a back-up battery, only to discover that its power life was not nearly what the LI-50B's is. Or maybe the "knock-off" just would not fully charge overnight. Either way, don't get "snookered" -- get this one!

The big question is if it is a genuine battery or not? Grey market goods made in China are often fakes. Your warranty will be garbage if it's a fake..... Who knows as you can't tell but they do look different from the real olympus battery, note differences in type of paper used, fonts, etc.

I took it to Walt Disney World and charged the battery the first time and was able to use if for 3 days without charging again. I will buy this item again for my Olympus Camera.
